The Rogue Pen is my safe haven, a place where I express the anger captured in my past poetry, the longings I have for a brighter future, and the restless creativity that drives me.

Who am I?

My published name is J. R. Rogue, but you can call me Jen.

I first put pen to paper at fifteen after developing an unrequited high school crush and have never stopped writing about heartache. I’ve published multiple volumes of poetry and novels, and my work has been recognized with three Goodreads Choice Awards nominations.

Through the Rogue Pen, I hope to feel a genuine connection with my audience and readership again, something I think I have lost as social media has drained so much from our lives.
